On Sunday 2/4/07 Randy Martin took his bro' flying...for real. Randy and Scotty Martin are both longtime lovers of indoor skydiving at places like "FLYAWAY" in Las Vegas. Randy found a new place to fly a little closer to home, and he actually prefers the experience at "Perris Valley Skydiving," but Scotty still has a soft spot for "FLYAWAY." Randy thought it was simply a crime that I was writing a book about a flying dude like myself, and hadn't actually tasted the air. He took care of that little problem, and here you can witness the results. Below are a few pics of the experience, but the real fun can be found in the videos. I highly recommend the experience, and "Perris Valley Skydiving" in particular. I'm sure all of their instructors are great, but Drew was the guy who took care of us, and he was incredibly cool. As for the flying itself, I was obviously the novice, and it shows. Randy's gone up over 10 times, and his skill was so high, Drew let him go totally solo. Then Drew showed us all how it's done like a real pro! His skills need to be seen to be believed. Check out the videos at the bottom of this page to see what I'm talking about.
